Palak Mata Pita Yojana Gujarat Information Scheme :
Government of Gujarat has launched Palak Mata Pita Yojana for children aged 0 to 18 years whose parents have passed away. Under this scheme, parents will be given ₹ 3000 per month as child support for taking care of children. Now we will provide details regarding the scheme so that you can apply for the scheme.
Palak Mata Pita Yojana scheme was implemented in 2016. Under this scheme, all orphans in Gujarat, up to 18 years of age, will be eligible for the benefit. Children whose father has died and mother has remarried, have to produce the marriage certificate of the mother’s remarriage.
The Palak Mata Pita Yojana Gujarat provides a monthly assistance of Rs 3,000 to foster parents or close relatives taking care of orphans.
Palak Mata Pita Yojana Gujarat Eligibility Criteria :
- Under this scheme, all the orphans living in Gujarat between the age of 0 to 18 years who have no parents will be eligible to get the benefit.
- Children whose father is dead and whose mother has remarried must produce the marriage certificate of the mother’s remarriage.
Palak Mata Pita Yojana Assistance :
- Rs.3000/- monthly support to next of kin taking care of children is paid from DBT.
Documents to be submitted for Palak Mata Pita Yojana :
- Any one of Child’s Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
- An attested copy of the death certificate of the child’s parents will have to be submitted.
- In case the child’s father is dead and the mother has remarried, affidavit of remarriage of the mother / marriage registration certificate / copy of Talati Kam Mantri any one of the following.
- Proof of remarriage
- Copy of income proof (income should be more than 27,000 for rural area and more than 36,000 for urban area.)
- Attested copy of joint bank account of child and foster parents
- Copy of child’s Aadhaar card
- Attested copy of ration card of foster parents
- A copy of the certificate of the standard in which the child is currently studying
- Any one of the copy of Aadhaar card of foster father / mother
Where can the beneficiary get the application form?
- The application form will be obtained from the District Social Security Office
- In districts where children’s homes are not functioning, the District Child Protection Unit will be responsible for accepting the scheme form and further action will be taken, the District Social Security Officer will be responsible for paying the assistance.
